Koliyanur is situated 8 kms from Villupuram town in Puduchery road.  A Jinalaya was there from 13^th Century AD. After 200 years the structure had been degenerated and demolished in due course of time. Last decade the nearby Jain descendants taking earnest effort to built a new structure at the same place. A beautiful Jinalaya was constructed and dedicate to Shri Adhinatha Jinar.

When we reach the venue a beautiful Manasthamp and a Rath or Chariot welcomes us. The Manasthamp installed on a high pedestal and has four Jinar images at the bottom and another four at top mini-mandap in sitting postures. Adjacent to that a tall chariot with four wheels and a Viman shape top inside a Chadurmugi specimen carvings in granite stone . Four bas-relief Jinars are in standing position decorate that specimen. A Kshetrabalagar individual shrine chamber facing east also lies in the open corridor.  ........

விழுப்புரம் நகரத்திலிருந்து  புதுச்சேரி சாலையில்  8 கி.மீ. தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது கோலியனூர் என்னும் சமண ஸ்தலம்.  அங்கு  13ம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சேர்ந்த  ஜிநாலயம் ஒன்று இருந்து 15 ம் நூற்றாண்டிற்கு பிறகு  அழிந்து விட்டிருக்கிறது.  சென்ற சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் அவ்விடத்தில்  அப்பகுதியில் வாழும்  சமணக் குடும்பங்கள் பெருமுயற்சி எடுத்து அழகிய ஜிநாலயத்தை எழுப்பி ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதருக்கு அர்ப்பணித்துள்ளனர். 

நாம் அதன் வாயிலை அடைந்ததும்  ஒரு நெடிய மனத்தூய்மைக் கம்பமும் அழகிய வடிவில் சுதையினால் செய்யப்பட்ட  தேர் ஒன்றும் வரவேற்கும்.  அந்த மனத்தூய்மைக் கம்பம்  பெரிய மேடையில் நிறுவப்பட்டு அதன் நாற் திசைகளிலும் கீழ் புறம் நான்கு ஜிநர்களின் உருவங்களும், மேற்புறம் சிறிய விமானத்தில் நான்குமாக அமர்ந்த நிலையில் அலங்கரிக்கின்றன.   அடுத்து கீழ்திசை நோக்கிய தேர் வடிவத்தின் நடுவே சதுர்முகி வடிவ கற்சிலை நான்கு புறமும்  நின்ற நிலை அரஹந்தர்களின் புடைப்புச் சிற்பத்துடன் அழகாக அமைந்துள்ளது.  அருகில் க்ஷேத்ரபாலகர் கற்சிலை தனி சன்னதியில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது. ........

A broad and long pavilion, a fore-sanctum and sanctum are the sections of the Vedi block. On the top-fore a decorated viman with Shri Adhinathar cement image with two Shamara maids on the gallery. Two set of stair cases also provided on the back, to reach the top of the pavilion. On the three sides of outer wall of  the sanctum has three Jinars, seated inside the Devamadam boxes.

The sanctum sanctorum has a magnificient stone plate carved sculpture with all features, like Melsithamur Molavar. The sculpture comprises of 24 thirthangars engraving, two Shamara maids, tri-umbrella canopy, padmapeedam and other ornamental top curves. Another small Jinar image also in front of the gigantic is for daily pooja and anointing purposes. The womb-chamber is crowned by two stage Viman shikhar with padmam and a khalash. Along the first stage four sitting postured Jinars on the sala portion and the top tier got standing state Jinars below the nasi portion on each direction decors beautifully. .......

ஆலயம்  கருவறை, இடைநாழி மற்றும்  அகலமான  முன் மண்டபம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளைக் கொண்டு கதவுகளுடன் பாதுகாப்பாக உள்ளது.  முன்மண்டபத்தின் மேற்பகுதியில் அலங்கார விமானத்தில் ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதரின் சுதைச்சிலை சாமரைதாரிகளுடன் அமர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.  ஆலயத்தின் பின்புறத்தில் இருபுறமும் மண்டபத்தின் மேல் தளத்திற்கு செல்ல மாடிப்படிகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. கருவறையைச் சுற்றி உள்ள சுவற்றில் தேவமாடங்கள் அமைத்து அதில் ஜிநரின் சிலைகள் அமர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. 

கருவறை வேதிகையில் ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதரின் பிரம்மாண்டமான கற்பலகையில் செதுக்கப்பட்ட புடைப்புச் சிலை, மேல்சித்தாமூர் மூலவரின் தோற்றத்துடன்,  நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது. அச்சிலை  24 தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் உருவங்களுடன்,  சாமரை தாரிகள்,  சிரசின் மேல் முக்குடை,  பத்ம பீடம் மற்றும் விளிம்புகளில் அலங்கார வேலைப்பாடுகளுடன் விளங்குகிறது.  அதன் மேல்  அழகிய துவிதள விமான சிகரம் பத்ம கலசத்துடன் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  அதன் கீழ்தளத்தில்  சாலைஅமைப்பின் மேற் நான்கு தீர்த்தங்கரர்கள் சுதைச்சிற்பங்களும்,  மேற் தளத்தில் நாசிக்கு கீழ் நான்கு ஜிநர்களின் சுதைச்சிற்பங்களும்  அமர்ந்த நிலையில்  காட்சி அளிக்கின்றன. .......

In front of the sanctum metal alloy images, Shri Komugha Yaksha and Shri Chakreshwari Yakshi stone absolute carved idols are exhibits on either side of aisle. And outside of sanctum, the pavilion has two galleries having twenty four white marble Jinar idols are placed in stepped mannar. Two Dwarabalagar stone statues with pedestal are lies on both side of the entry.

A separate shrine is on the north-west corner. It got the legendary sculpture of Shri Rishabhadev which is brought from Meenampakkam Air port, Madras. A paved corridor, a Munivasam and a guest house are also in the complex.

All poojas, rituals and festivals are conducted and celebrated recurrently at the relevant times.

ஜிநாலயத்தின் வடமேற்கு மூலையில் ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதருக்கான தனி சன்னதியில்  சென்னை மீனம்பாக்கம் விமான நிலையத்தில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட  கற்சிலை வேதிகையில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.  மேலும் ஆலய திருச்சுற்றில்  முனிவாசமும் தங்கும் விடுதியும் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஆலயத்தில் அனைத்து பூஜைகளும், பண்டிகைகளும் அந்தந்த பருவ நாட்களில் செவ்வனே நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. 

குறிப்பாக அக்ஷய திரிதியை திருவீதியுலா, தீபாவளி லட்டு பூஜை, நவராத்திரி, விஜயதசமி ஸ்ரீதேவியர் திருவீதியுலா போன்றவை யாகும்.

Eramalur is also a Jains living hamlet (near Nallur) 8 kms from Nadukuppam bus stop on Vandhavasi-Tindivanam road. Recent past a new Janalaya was built by the native Jain descendants had been dedicated to Shri Mahaveer Jinar. A small and compact structure with alround wall is found while we are entering the spot.

The square type pavilion has back-end sanctum plinth and a square prism plus sphere ball shaped viman on the top. A kalash also installed on the top. The fore-edge top shows a gallery with Shri Mahaveerar cement idol seated inside the box shelter. The pavilion was secured with Iron gate tightly. On either side of the gate two Dwarabalagar stone statues are placed on an individual pedestals.  ...........

எரமலூர்  என்னும் கிராமம்  திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டத்தில்   வந்தவாசி ‡ திண்டிவனம் சாலையில் நடுக்குப்பம் என்னும் பஸ்நிறுத்தத்திலிருந்து 8 கி.மீ. (நல்லூருக்கு அருகில்) தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. அங்கே அவ்வூரைச் சார்ந்த மிகச் சொற்ப சமணர்களின்  வாரிசுக் குடும்பங்களால்  சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் ஒரு ஆலயத்தை கட்டி ஸ்ரீமகாவீரருக்கு அர்ப்பணம் செய்துள்ளனர்.  அழகிய கச்சிதமான அளவில் சுற்று சுவருடன் அவ்வூருக்கு சென்றதும் கண்ணில் படும் ஒரு ஆலயம் ஆகும்.

சதுர வடிவில் கட்டப்பட்ட மண்டபத்தின்  பின்கட்டில் கருவறை வேதிகையும்,  அதன்  மீது  சதுர கூம்பு  (பிரிசம்) வடிவின் மேல் கோளம் போன்ற அமைப்பினைக் கொண்ட விமானமும்,  மேற் கலசமும் கொண்டுள்ளன.  ஆலயத்தின் முன் மேல்தளத்தில் அழகிய  மாடம் அமைத்து அதில் ஸ்ரீவர்த்தமாணரின் சுதைச்சிற்பம் காட்சித்தருகிறது.  அவ்வாலயம் கனமான கதவுகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு பாதுகாப்பாக உள்ளது.  வாயிலின் இருபுறமும் இரு துவாரபாலகர் சிலைகள் தனி மேடைகளில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. 

Shri Mahaveerar marble purple race colour stone sculpture in sitting posture was installed on the plinth. The top tri-imbrella and two whisks on either side engraving is brought from an ancient temple. In front of the plinth white marble made idols of Shri Adhinather, Shri Parswanather, Shri Shanthinathar and Shri Chandraprabhar were displayed decorately on a separate platform. On the side a pedestal got Shri Padmavathy devi white marble beautiful carvings with dilated state five headed snake canopied the head. A portrait having the images of Shri Adhinathar and Shri Mahavaeerar is in decorated ornamental back is taken from the British museum is also displayed in the temple.

Regular poojas and festivals are celebrated regularly by the devotees of the village.

They are the reflections of bygone day’s traditions and customs through the images. So the devotees and passersby should visit the places can safeguard the valuble treasures for future generations.

அமர்ந்த நிலையில் உள்ள ஸ்ரீமகாவீரரின் சிலை,  பழுப்பு நிறம் கலந்த பளிங்குக்கல்லால் சிரசின்மீது முக்குடையுடன்,  இருபுறமும் சாமரைகளுடன் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. முன்னர் வேறு ஆலயத்தில் மூலவராக இருந்தவர் ஆவார்.  மேலும் அதன் முன்புறம் உள்ள மேடையில்  வெண்பளிங்கு கல்லால் ஆன ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதர், ஸ்ரீபாரஸ்வநாதர், ஸ்ரீசாந்திநாதர் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீசந்திரப்பிரப நாதரின் சிலைகளும் அமர்த்தப் பட்டுள்ளன.  அதன் அருகில் தென்திசை நோக்கி ஸ்ரீபத்மாவதி தேவியின் சலவைக்கல் சிலை ஐந்து தலைநாகம்  தலைமீது விரிந்த கோலத்துடன் செய்விக்கப்பட்டு நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. இங்கிலாந்து அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த ஸ்ரீஆதிநாதர் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீமகாவீரர் இருவரின் உருவ புகைப்படம் ஒன்று அதன் விவரங்களுடன் காட்சிக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அனைத்து ஆலயங்களில் நடைபெறும் தினபூஜை மற்றும் அனைத்து பண்டிகைகளும் இவ்வாலயத்திலும் அந்தந்த பருவ நாட்களில் செவ்வனே அருகிலுள்ள மெய்யன்பர்களால் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றது. 

இதுபோன்ற பழங்கால நினைவுச் சின்னங்கள் நமது பாரம்பரியத்தை   உருவத்தின் வழியே வெளிக்காட்டு கின்றன. ஆகவே அதனை பாதுகாக்கும் முகமாக அவ்வழியே ஒருமுறை சென்று தரிசித்து வந்தால் அப்பொக்கிஷங்கள் வருங்கால சந்ததிக்காக அழியாமல் இருக்கும்.
