பைகணாதிகரி பஸ்தி

ஸ்ரீ அனந்தநாத ஜினருக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட இவ்வாலயத்தை நிறுவியவர் பைகணாதிகாரி  என்ற ஸ்ராவகர் ஆவார். பெயருக்கான விளக்கம் கிடைக்க வில்லை. இவ்வாலயம் ஜைனத்தெருவின் கடைசியில்  அமைந்துள்ளது.

சுற்றுச் சுவரைக் கடந்தால் குடவரை போன்ற திண்ணையுடன் கூடிய கட்டமைப்பு. அதனை யடுத்து ஸ்ரீ க்ஷேத்ரபாலகர், நாகராஜர் சிலைகளுள்ள சன்னதியுடன் திறந்த வெளிச் திருச்சுற்று.

வழக்கம்போல் சிறிய முகமண்டபம், மஹாமண்டபம் தூண்களுடன், அர்த்தமண்டபம் மற்றும் கர்பக்குடி போன்ற அம்சங்களுடன் காணப்படுகிறது.

கருவறை வேதியில் சற்றொப்ப 3 அடியுயர கருமை நிற வழவழப்பான கல்லால் ஆன ஸ்ரீ அனந்தநாதரின் கட்காசன சிலை பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவரது இருபுற தூண்களில் நிற்கும் கல்லினாலான பிரபாவளி  மேற்முக்குடை மற்றும் 23 தீர்த்தங்கரர்கள் புடைப்புச் சிற்பங்களுடன்  காணப்படுகிறது. அவருக்கு முன் அமைக்கப்பட்ட அடுக்கான மரப்பெட்டிகளுக்குள் ஜினர் சிலைகள் பிரபாவளியுடனும், இடது புறம் தாவும்குதிரையில் கடிவாளத்தை பிடித்தபடி ஸ்ரீ பிரம்மதேவர் கற்சிலையும், வலது புறம் உலோகத்தினாலான  ஸ்ரீ பத்மாவதி சிலையும் உள்ளன.

வழக்கம்போல் ஸ்ருதஸ்கந்தம், கணதர ஸ்தம்பம் மற்றும் 24 ஜினர்கள் தொகுதிச் சிற்பம் போன்றவை மேடையில் வரிசையாக வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

மஹாமண்டத்தின் வழியாக வெளியே சென்று உட்சுற்றாக வலம் வரும் வகையில் ஆளோடியுடனான கட்டமைப்பும் சேர்த்து அனைத்திற்குமான மேற்கூரையுடன் காணப்படுகிறது.

இந்த பஸ்தியும் 12 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சேர்ந்ததாகத் தெரிகிறது. மானஸ்தம்பம், பலிபீட அமைப்பைக் காணப்படவில்லை. அழிந்து விட்டிருக்கலாம்.

Baikanathikari Basadi

The last basadi in the Jain Street was  built by a shravak named as Baikanathikari. It is  dedicated to Shri Anandhanath jinar in the 12 th Century AD.

Enter in the  Gudakarai we can see a small Mugamantap, Mahamantap, Arthamandap and Garbhakudi. All structure has one wooden structured roof tiled by Mangalore tiles. Shri Kshethrabalaga and Nagas were seated in the open circumbulatory.

On the garbhagriha vedi a 4 feet high polished black stone pratima in Katkasana posture was installed. A stone structure of Prabavali has 23 jinar bas-relief and Tri-umbrella.

Multi wooded box gallery was filled by several bronze jinars with prabavali. Apart from a black stone Shri Brahmadevar is raide on a horse pose. Metal idol Shri Padmavathy matha also seated inside the gallery box.

Shruthaskanth, Gandhar bronze idol were arranged, on a platform, in front of the Moolnayak.

No Manasthamp and palibeta is there. May be demolished over the past.
