Between sembarampakkam – vichoor - cholavaram road adjacent to Perumal temple turning (corner) place and nearing before Govt High School – Vichoor, the temple is situated.

 

முற்கால புழல்கோட்டத்தில், இக்கால திருவள்ளுர் மாவட்டம், பொன்னேரி வட்டத்தில் செம்பரம்பாக்கம் - விச்சூர் சாலையில் உயர்நிலைப்பள்ளிக்கு முன்னதாக வரும் திருப்பத்தில், மேலும் சோழவரம் சாலைத்திருப்பத்திற்கு முன் வரும் திருப்பத்திருக்கு அருகில் விச்சூர் பஞ்சாயத்திலுள்ள பெருமாள் கோவிலுக்கு அருகில் எடுப்பான தோற்றத்துடனான ஸ்ரீ ஆதிநாதர் சிற்றாலயத்தைக் காணலாம்.

 

காண்பதற்கு அழகானத் தோற்றத்துடனுடனான இச்சிற்றாலயம்; கிழக்கு நோக்கிய கருவறை மற்றும் பிரார்த்தனைக் கூடத்துடனுடனான சிற்றாலயத்தின் கருவறைக்கு மேலுள்ள விமானம், ஆறுபட்டைக் கூம்பு (நகாரா விமானம் மாதிரி) வடிவமைப்புடனும் மேற்கலசத்துடனும் சிமெண்ட், மணலால் போன்ற மூலப்பொருளால் உருவாக்கம் பெற்றது.

மூலவர் கருங்கல் சில மிகவும் வசீகரத்துடன், சாந்த ஸ்வரூபியான முகச்சாயலும் இருபுறமும் சாமரைத்தேவர்கள், மேல் முக்குடை, பிரபாமண்டலம் மற்றும் பிண்டி மர அம்சங்களுடன், சிங்காதத்தின் பின் புறம் திவ்யத்வனையை நினைவூட்டும் வகையில் மத்தளம் போன்ற அமைப்புடன் திகழ்கிறது.

 

எந்த ஒரு லாஞ்சனமும் தென்படவில்லை. அதனால் முதலில் கண்டவர்  இவரை, இந்த யுகத்தின் முதல் ஜினரான ஆதிநாதர் என்றே கருதியுள்ளதாக தெரிகிறது.

 

அதிகமான அரிமானம் இல்லை என்றாலும் சிங்காதனத்தின் கீழ் இருந்துள்ள இரண்டடிக்கும் மேலான கருங்கல் மேடையின் எச்சங்கள் காணாமல் போயிருக்கலாம். அதனால்  மூன்றடிக்கும் கூடுதலான உயரமுள்ள ஆதிநாதர் சிலையின் கீழ்தட்டுலுள்ள  மேடை ஆழத்தின் அளவு குறைவாகத் தென்படுகிறது.

 

மற்றபடி அதிகமாக சிதிலங்களுக்கான எந்த ஒரு அடையாளமும் தென்படவில்லை. சிலையின்  மேற்புற அரிமானம் அதிக தென்படவில்லை.  ஆதலால் சற்றோப்ப 500 ஆண்டுகளில் செதுக்கப்பட்டதாக இருக்கலாம்.

நல்லதொரு  பராமரிப்பில் உள்ள இந்த  சிற்றாலத்தைக்  கண்டு தரிசித்தபின் மனமகிழ்வுடன் அடுத்த ஸ்தலமான பள்ளிபுரத்தை நோக்கி பயணப்பட்டோம்.

In the ancient Puzhalkottam, in the present-day Ponneri taluk of Thiruvallur district, at the turning, before the high school on the Chembarambakkam-Vichur road and also near the turnoff before the Cholavaram road, Near the Perumal temple in Vichur panchayat, you can find the Sri Adinathar small temple with a beautiful appearance.

 

This shrine with a beautiful appearance to see; The small temple with an east-facing sanctum and a small colonnaded hall, the vimana above the sanctum of the small temple, is made of cement and sand with a six-sided cone-shaped (like nagara vimana) design and a kalash at the top.

 

The moolnayak statuary made up of granite stone is very charming, with a gentle face and a chamaraigods on both side, a upper Mukkudai (tri-umbrella), with prabhamandala and a ashoka tree.

Although there is no great value, the remains of the two-foot-high black stone platform under the throne may have disappeared. Therefore, the depth of the platform at the bottom of the Adinathar statue, which is more than three feet high, appears to be less.

 

No lanchanam is visible. Therefore, it seems that the first person who saw may considered it to be Adinathar, the first Jinar of this era.

 

Otherwise, there is no sign of any major damage. The top texture of the statue is smooth one. Therefore, it may have been carved in the last 500 years.

 

After visiting this well-maintained temple, we happily traveled towards our next destination, Pallipuram.
