ஹலிபேடு ஜைனபஸ்தி வளாகத்தை சுற்றிப் பார்த்து தரிசித்து விட்டு புஷ்பகிரி, பண்டங்கொட்டெ, மல்லபுரா இடதுபுறத் திருப்ப சாலை வழியாக அடகுரு என்ற ஸ்தலத்தில் புதியதாய் உருவாகிவரும் அதிசய ஜைன க்ஷேத்ரத்திற்கு வந்து சேர்ந்தோம்.

அந்த  ஸ்தலத்தில் சிலர் தோண்டும் போது ஒருசில சிலைகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன. அதன் பின்னர் மேலும் அகழாய்வு செய்த போது  9க்கும் கூடுதலான சிலைகள் கிடைத்துள்ளதாக தெரியவருகிறது.

 

ஆலயம்  உருவாகும் தொடக்கக்காலமானதால் அங்கொன்றும் இங்கொன்றுமாக நிறுவப்பட்ட பிரம்மாண்ட தீர்த்தங்கரர் சிலைகள் வரவேற்றன.

நுழைவாயிலுக்கு எதிரில் 15 அடிக்கும் கூடுதலான உயரமுள்ள கருங்கலால் உருவாக்கம் பெற்ற ஸ்ரீ முனுசூவிரத நாதர் பன்னிரண்டு அடிக்கும் கூடுதலான பீடத்தில் காயோத்சர்க நிலையில் நின்றிருக்கும் கருவண்ணச் சிலையைக் கண்டு தரிசித்து மகிழ்ந்தோம்.

அவருக்கு வடக்குப்  புறத்தில் 10 அடிக்குக்கும் கூடுதலான பெரிய செவ்வக மேடையில் அர்த்த பத்மாசன தியானக் கோலத்தில் அமர்ந்த சற்றொப்ப 15 அடி உயர ஸ்ரீ சீதளநாதரின் பிரம்மாண்ட உருவத்தை கண்டு திகைத்து வணங்கினோம்.

அத்தலத்தின் நடுவே தற்காலிக கூடாரம் அமைத்து அதில் ஸ்ரீ ஆதிநாதர், ஸ்ரீ பார்ஸ்வநாதர், ஸ்ரீ மஹாவீரர் மற்றும் 24 தீர்த்தங்கரகளின் தனித்தனி பிரபையுடனான சிலை வடிவங்கள் போன்ற பல தீர்த்தங்கரர் சிலைகள், மேலும் யக்ஷ, யக்ஷியர் சிலைகள் இவற்றிற்கு முன் ஒரு 9 அடியுயர மானஸ்தம்பமும் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அவ்வாறு தோண்டி எடுக்கப்பட்ட சிலைகளில் ஒன்றான  சிறிய ஆதிநாதர் சிலை முன்று, நான்கு பகுதியாக தூண்டிக்கப்பட்டு கிடந்துள்ளதை தேடி எடுத்து, அவற்றை ஒருங்கிணைத்து உருவமாக்கி வைத்துள்ளனர். இது  ஒரு விசேஷமான பிம்பமாக கருதுகின்றனர்.

இவை யனைத்தும் பிற்காலத்தில் உருவாக இருக்கும் விசாலமான ஜினாலயத்தில் பல சன்னதிகளை அலங்கரிக்கப்போகின்றன என்பது தெளிவாகிறது.

ஹலிபேடு செல்லும் அனைவரும் அவசியம் அவ்வழியே சென்று தரிசனம் செய்யவேண்டிய ஒரு முக்கிய ஸ்தலம் ஆகும்.

After visiting the Halipedu Jain Basti complex, we arrived at the newly emerging Jain Kshetram at Adaguru.

Some people found a few idols while digging at that place. Later, when further excavations were done, it was revealed that more than 9 idols were found.

 

Since it was the initial period of the temple's development, we were greeted by the huge statues of Tirthankaras installed here and there.

Opposite the entrance, we were delighted to see the black statue of Sri Munusuvrata Nath, which is more than 15 feet high and is made of black stone and is standing in the Kayotsarka position on a pedestal of more than twelve feet high.

On the northern side of the temple, we were amazed to see a gigantic image of Sri Seethalanathar, about 15 feet tall, seated in the Ardha Padmasana meditation posture on a large rectangular platform measuring more than 10 feet.

A temporary tent was set up in the middle of the temple, in which various Tirthankara statues, such as Sri Adinathar, Sri Parswanathar, Sri Mahavira and the 24 Tirthankaras with separate statues, as well as Yaksha and Yakshiyar statues, were installed. A 9-foot-high Manasthamba has also been installed in front of these.

One of the excavated statues, a small Adinathar statue, which was found to be lying in three, four parts, has been found and assembled to form a statue. This is considered a special image.

It is clear that all these are going to adorn many shrines in the spacious Jinalayam that will be built in the future.

It is an important place that everyone who goes to Halipedu must definitely visit.
