ஸ்ரீ ஜைன் க்ஷேத்ர கம்பதஹள்ளி மடத்திற்கு செல்லும் முன் வழியில் உள்ள ஒரு சிறிய மலையின் மீது உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ஒரு அழகிய மலைப் பஸ்தி இந்த ஸ்ரீ சந்திரகிரி மலைக்கோவிலாகும்.

அமைதியான பிரதேசத்தில் தெய்வீகம் நிரம்பிய மலைக்காட்சி நம்மை மயங்கிடச் செய்துவிடுகிறது.

கீழிறுந்து மேலேறுவது மிகவும் சுலபமாக இருப்பதற்குக் காரணம்; மலை மிகவும் படர்ந்து விரிந்து பரவியுள்ளது. அதனால் அதன் படிக்கட்டுள்ள எல்லாம் இரண்டு அங்குல உயர அளவில் வெட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது ஆகும். கைப்பிடி தடுப்புத்தாங்கி வசதியுள்ளதால் மலைஏறி இறங்க சுலபமாக இருந்தது.

உச்சிப்படிக்கட்டில் நின்று அடிவாரத்தையும், சுற்றியுள்ள ரம்மியமான இயற்கை நிலக்காட்சியையும், அருகே தெரியும் பிந்திகானவெல்லி ஏரியையும் ரசித்து விட்டு, மேலுள்ள மலைக்கோவிலின் அழகாக தோற்றத்தை காணும் போது நம்மை மறந்து சில நிமிடம் அங்கேயே நின்று விடுவோம்.

முதலில் நம்மை வரவேற்பது சதுர்முக மலைக்கோவிலின் மானஸ்தம்பம். அதன் பின்னால் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அழகிய பஸ்தியின் கருவறையில் நாற்திசைநோக்கிய நான்கு தீர்த்தங்கர மூர்த்திகள், ஸ்ரீசந்திரப்பிரர், ஸ்ரீமுனுசூவிரதர், ஸ்ரீபார்ஸ்வநாதர், ஸ்ரீமஹாவீரர் போன்ற ஜினர்கள் தியானக்கோலத்தில் அமர்ந்துள்ளதைப் பார்க்கும் போது இருகரம் கூப்பி வணங்கவே தோன்றுகிறது.

அதனைச் சுற்றி வர உள்சுற்றும் உள்ளது.

அது தவிர அந்த கோவில் கட்டமைப்பைச் சுற்றிலும் ஒரு வெளிப்பிரகார மேடையில் இருபத்து நான்கு தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் பாதமேடைகள் சிறு விமானத்துடன் காண அழகாக உள்ளது.

அதனையும் சேர்த்து சுற்றும் அளவிற்கு மலை மேட்டில் இடம் உள்ளது. ஆக மூன்று திருச்சுற்றுகள் அமைந்த ஒரு சதுர்முக பஸ்தியாக காட்சியளிக்கிறது.

ரம்மியமான இந்தச் சந்திரகிரியில் அமர்ந்துள்ள நான்குதிசை தீர்த்தங்கரர்களான ஸ்ரீசந்திரப்பிரர், ஸ்ரீமுனுசூவிரதர், ஸ்ரீபார்ஸ்வநாதர், ஸ்ரீமஹாவீரர் கண்டு தரிசித்த பக்தர்கள் கண்டிப்பாக மனநிறைவுடன் அங்கே அமர்ந்து சிறிது நேரம் கழித்தே கிழிறங்குவார்கள் என்று நிச்சயம்.

Sri Chandragiri Hill Temple is a beautiful hill basti built on a small hill on the way to Sri Jain Kshetra Kambatahalli Math.

The divine mountain view in a peaceful area enchants us.

The reason why it is very easy to climb up and down; the mountain is very wide and spread out. Therefore, everything in its steps is cut at a height of two inches. Hand rails support also made easy to raise.

Standing on the top terrace and enjoying the foothills, the beautiful natural landscape around, and the nearby Bindikanavelli Lake, we forget ourselves and stay there for a few minutes when we see the beautiful appearance of the hill temple above.

First, we are welcomed by the Manasthamba of the Chaturmuka Hill Temple. In the sanctum sanctorum of the beautiful basti set up behind it, when you see the four Tirthankara idols facing the four directions, Sri Chandrapracharya, Sri Munusuvirathar, Sri Parswanathar, Sri Mahavira sitting in a meditative posture, you feel like folding your hands and worshipping them.

There is also an inner circle to go around it.

Apart from that, there is an outer platform around the temple structure, where the footstools of twenty-four Tirthankaras are beautifully seen with a small vimana.

There is enough space on the hilltop to go around it. Thus, it appears as a square basti with three circular paths.

Devotees who have seen the four Tirthankaras sitting in this beautiful Chandragiri, Sri Chandrapracharya, Sri Munusuvirathar, Sri Parswanathar, Sri Mahavira, will definitely be satisfied and will be able to relax after spending some time there.
