தேரம்மா ஷெட்டி பஸ்தி

இவ்வாலயம் உருவாக்கிய சிரேஷ்டியின் பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. மிகப்புராதனமான இவ்வாலயத்தின் தோற்றத்திற்கான அடையாளங்கள் ஏதுமில்லை. ஏறக்குறைய 14-15 ம் நூற்றாண்டில் கட்டியிருக்கக்கூடும்.

பிற ஜினாலயங்கள் போன்றே முகமண்டப கட்டுமானம் தனியாகவும், பின்னர் திருச்சுற்றுக்கு நடுவே நவரங்க மண்டபம், அந்தராளம், கருப்பகுடி என்ற நான்கு பகுதி அமைப்புடன் காணப்படுகிறது.

கருப்பகுடி மைய வேதியில் ஸ்ரீ முனுசூவ்ரத  நாதரின் கருமை நிறக்கல்,  அர்த்தபத்மாசனச் சிலை காணப்படுகிறது. புட்டப்பகுதிக்கு  மட்டுமான பத்மமேடையில் அமர்ந்து அழகாக காட்சியளிக்கிறார். அவருக்கு பின்னால் வெண்கலத்தினாலான பிரபாவளி பூக்கொடிகள் போன்ற புடைப்பு வேலைப்பாடுகளுடன் காணப்படுகிறது. முன்னால் இரு தூண் போன்ற வடிவத்தில் குமிழ்கள் போன்ற சாத்துப்படி சட்டம் போன்று காணப்படுகிறது. அதில் எந்த  ஒரு கோடுகளோ, எழுத்துக்களோ காணப்படவில்லை.

அவருக்கு வலது புறம் சற்று தள்ளிய அந்தராளத்திற்கான நுழைவாயிலுக்கெதிரே தெரியும் படி வெண்பளிங்குக்கல்லால் ஆன ஸ்ரீ அரநாதர் சற்று சிறிய அளவில் அவரைப்போன்றே அமர்ந்த  நிலையில் சிறிய பிரபாவளியுடன் காட்சியளிக்கிறார். அதேபோல் இடது புறம் ஸ்ரீ மல்லிநாதர் வெண்சிலை அமர்ந்தநிலையில் அமைத்துள்ளனர்.

அனைத்திற்கு ஒரே மேடை அமைத்து, அதில் 24 தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் அம்மூவரை விட சிறிய அளவிலான வெண் சலவைக்கல்லால் ஆன சிலைகள் சிறிய பிரபாவளியுடன் அழகாக காட்சியளிக்கின்றன.

ஒவ்வொரு ஆலயத்திலும் தெய்வச்சிலை பிரதிஷ்டாபூமிகள் அமைப்பு விதவிதமாக காட்சியளிப்பது இத்தலத்தின் தனித்துவமாகும்.

மேலும் மேல்தளத்திலும் ஒரு கருவறையும், அதில் ஸ்ரீ மல்லிநாதர் சிலையும் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இவ்வாலயமும் பக்தர்களின் காணிக்கையை பராமரிப்புச் செலவினங்களுக்காக எதிர்நோக்கியுள்ளன.

Deramma shetty Basadi

It was named by the founder of the temple. Very ancient look but no exact evidence of identity inside the basadi. May be in between 14-15th Century B.C.. It has separate Mugamantap. Inside circumbulatory navaranga, anthralla and Garbhakudi.

Shri Munushuvirat Jinar, made of black Marble in artha padmasana on one third lotus base. Behind a bronze prabhavali is exibits. Shri Ara jinar and Shri Mallinath jinar of  white marble with bronze prabavali also installed on both side of Munisuvirat.

Apart from, connected platform got 24 white marble jinars with small parabavali on back seated linely is fabulous.

On the top floor has Shri Mallinath jinar shrine is unique. A run through stairs raised on the side. The beautiful Jinalaya maintained by the donations received from visited devotees.

PAiTHAN - பைத்தான்

SHRI MUNISUVRAT NATH BHAGWAN ATISHAYA KSHETRA

ஸ்ரீ முனுசூவ்ரத் பகவான் அதிசய க்ஷேத்திரம்.

நல்ல தங்குமிட வசதியுடன் கூடியது.

மிகப் புனிதமான , புராதனமான யாத்திரை ஸ்தலம்.

கோதாவரி நதிக்கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள இஜ்ஜிநாலயத்தின் மூலவராக  ஸ்ரீமூனுசூவிரத ஸ்வாமியை நிறுவியுள்ளனர்.

ஸ்ரீராமர் காலத்தின் மோட்ச ஸ்வாமியானதால் , அவரால் வணங்கப்பட்ட ஜினராவார்.

கி பி மூன்றாம் நூற்றாண்டில் பெரும் பஞ்சம் காரணமாக அந்திம சுருதகேவலி பத்ரபாகு முனிவர் தமது  12000 சீடர்களுடன், சந்திரகுப்த மாமன்னருடன் தாம் இருந்த இடமிருந்து வெளியேறி பைத்தான் நகருக்கு வந்து தங்கி இருந்ததாக வரலாறு கூறுகிறது.

பின்னர் விசாகாச்சாரியார் மற்றும் கல்காச்சார்யரும் விஜயம் செய்த ஸ்தலமாக கருதப்படுகிறது.

 அதிசய க்ஷேத்ரம்

முற்காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த சிம்னா பண்டிதர் அமாவாசை திதியை தவறாக பெளர்ணமி என பிற மத பண்டிதர்களிடம் தவறாக கூறி விட்டார்.

பின்னர் தாம் செய்த தவறுக்கு வருந்தி, மூலவரிடம் மனமுருகி வேண்டியதால் யக்ஷியின் கருணையால்,  அன்று இரவு நிலவு உதயமானதாக கர்ண-பரம்பரைச்  செய்தியுள்ளது.

மேலும் இவ்வாலத்திலிருந்து நறுமணப்புகை யொன்று அடிக்கடி வந்து மணவீசுவதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது.

அதனால்  இச்க்ஷேத்ரம் அதிசய பூமியாக கருதப்படுகிறது. 

முதல் தளத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள இஜ்ஜிநாலயத்தில் மானஸ்தம்பமும், கண்ணாடி வேலைபாடுகள் கொண்ட சன்னதியும், பிரார்த்தனை கூடமும் அலங்கரிக்கின்றன.

மூலவர் முனுசூவ்ரதர் கருமை நிற மணற் கல்லால் 3 அடி உயரத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளார். அப்புராதன ஜின பிரதிமையின் பின்புறம் அழகிய வேலைப்பாடுடைய வெண்-உலோக பல சிறப்புகளை வெளிக்கொணரும் தகட்டால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மேலும் பல ஜினர்களின்  பிரதிமைகளும் அலங்கரிக்கின்றன.

அப்பூமியை அகழாய்வு செய்த போது  கிடைத்த ஸ்ரீ ஆதிநாதர் சிலையும் இங்கு சன்னதியில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.

PAITHAN

This holy & ancient pilgrimage place is situated at Paithan, an old city.

 This Kshetra is situated at the beautiful bank of river Godavari. It is said that this Kshetra belongs to fourth era and the principal deity of this Kshetra is Bhagwan Munisuvrat Nath—the 20th Teerthankar contemporary to Bhagvan Ram.

According to sayings Shri Ram Chandraji worshiped this magnificent idol.

This is said that at the time of twelve years drought [in 3rd century], during the migration by Antim Shrut-Kevli Acharya Bhadrabahu with his scholar-the famous Mourya Emperor Chandra Gupta and 12000 monks, Acharya Bhadrabahu came here. Later on Vishakhaacharya and Kalkaacharya also visited Paithan.

Atishaya – So many stories are popular regarding miracles of this Kshetra. Some times fragranced fumes are seen coming out of the basement.

A story is very popular regarding miracles of this place.

During 17th century Shri Chimna Pandit- a scholar of Bhattarak Ajitkeerti lived here, he was a great poet of Marathi language.

Great hindu saint Shri Eknathji and a muslim saint were his friends. One day these three were discussing about spiritual maters, one of them asked to Chimna Pandit about date [tithi] of that day.

Chimna Pandit answered that it is the day of full moon [Poornima], both the friends laughed at this answer and told him that this is the day of Amaavasyaa [the day of moon less night].

But Pandit denied this fact again and again. At last they decided to confirm the truth at night. After some time Chimna Pandit recalled the fact and he felt in great sorrow, then he went to the temple direct and stayed before Bagvan Munisuvrat Nath’s idol for prayer, he engrossed himself in devotion.

At night all saw that the moon was shining in the sky of Paithan and closer area. This was the miracle of Paithan’s Bhagvan Munisuvrat Nath. 

Main Temple & Idol :

The principal deity in this ancient temple is Bhagvan Munisuvrat Nath’s idol in cross legged seating posture [padmasanasth], made of black sand stone. This ancient idol is magnificent and beautiful, inviting the visitors for meditation and to search peace and pleasure in their own self.

A Bhagvan Aadinath’s idol in seating posture also present here , that was recovered from earth. Art of this ancient idol is eye catching-worth seen.
